As a leading manufacturer of innovative and high quality ceramic products, the Italian company Laminam is renowned for its aesthetic and functional surface solutions. Vesting Communications developed an exclusive magazine with maximum utility value for the renowned Italian company: As a product catalogue, it serves as a service-oriented sales tool for kitchen retailers. For the end consumer, the magazine acts as a style guide for interior design, making the properties of ceramic easy to experience and demonstrating the wide range of possible applications. Rather than a classic advertising brochure, our focus was to create a stylish magazine that both aesthetically showcases the design versatility of Laminam worktops and serves as a sales tool with functional utility.

Many consumers come to kitchen retailers with uncertainty and a desire for inspiration. Deciding on materials, colours and styles can be difficult, as there is so much to choose from. This is where high-quality print products such as our Style Guide can add real value: They help kitchen retailers to inspire their customers in a targeted way and clearly highlight the benefits of Laminam products. Our magazine is not only a sales tool, but also a source of inspiration that impressively demonstrates the design versatility and practical benefits of Laminam worktops.
A key element of the magazine's design was therefore the integration of service aspects and advice, which makes the functional aspects of the product understandable and effectively supports the kitchen retailer in the sales and advice situation. At the same time, the magazine is designed not to compete with the retailer's design expertise.
Creative process and style guide implementation
Our work began with the development of a content concept that focused on the specific features of Laminam's products. For the design of the magazine, we worked with the Italian company to develop a visually appealing layout that fits perfectly with Laminam's corporate identity. Based on our extensive knowledge of the needs of interior designers, we designed a high-quality product brochure that does justice to the material and makes it almost tangible.
In addition, we gave the ceramic panels an interior design framework with different mood boards that show the many different ways in which the end customer can furnish with Laminam ceramic in different living styles. The combination of different fabrics, colours, textures and natural elements with the ceramic designs demonstrates their compatibility in interior design.
The integration of QR codes in the high quality promotional brochure takes the reader directly to the product website, providing added value and ensuring that all relevant information is easily accessible to the customer.

Italian manufacturer Laminam is a pioneer in the production of large-format ceramic tiles. Since its foundation in the early 2000s, the company has continuously developed its production processes and automated technologies typical of Industry 4.0. Today, Laminam sells ceramic surfaces in more than 100 countries around the world for an extremely wide range of applications, from traditional and modern architecture to the cladding of furniture and design objects. The collections and their specifications are constantly being expanded with new textures and finishes, enabling designers and architects to realise their creative projects with an ever-increasing range of designs.
