The decision to convert the entire range to 2700 Kelvin is based on a combination of scientific evidence and the desire to offer lighting solutions that are both attractive and environmentally responsible. It is less disruptive to nocturnal insects that use natural moonlight for navigation. Artificial light sources can disrupt this orientation and alter the natural behaviour and reproductive cycles of insects. The 2700 Kelvin light colour has both environmental and aesthetic benefits.
