As part of a holistic campaign strategy for the 200th anniversary of the traditional Swiss textile company Fischbacher 1819, our task was to communicate the company's history in the form of an innovative customer magazine. The aim of our assignment was to strengthen the corporate identity of the world's oldest, family-run textile manufacturer.
Lively storytelling in a lifestyle format
As an experienced sparring partner in the strategic conception of themes for corporate brochures, we focused on storytelling for Fischbacher's customer magazine “Tabloid”, which brings the essence of the company's history to life. In the style of a large-format lifestyle magazine, the brochure was designed to give dealers, planners, designers, press representatives and end customers a lively insight into the company's two centuries of development.
Our content strategy focused on the milestones in the company's 200-year history: the personalities who have contributed to the company's development with their flair for market-relevant products created a powerful narrative for the brochure, highlighting the innovative strength, courage and cosmopolitan spirit of the different generations of Fischbachers.
In the customer magazine, we follow creative director Camilla Fischbacher and her designers as they create extraordinary textile designs.
In the course of our journalistic treatment of the various themes, the wealth of milestones and pioneering collaborations of Fischbacher at the interface of fashion and home textiles, we showed the instinct and creative vision with which the designers conquered the home collection and accessories sector. Significant international connections, development expertise passed down from generation to generation and the influence of culturally divergent demands on textiles were revealed for the first time in this density and in a new context in the stories along the brand's history.

The result: a powerful content tool for the press, consumers and sales
The customer magazine “Tabloid” has given Fischbacher 1819's representatives a powerful tool to communicate the brand's heritage. The copywriting we developed sets out a clear vision of the brand identity hidden in each of the textile company's products. The brochure, with expert copywriting from our content agency, has been adopted as a powerful tool for customer acquisition and retention, as well as employer branding. Even after the big anniversary year, the publication is still being used to inspire members of the press with the manufacturer's remarkable corporate story.
The company's family is also presented as part of the brochure's storytelling.

Fischbacher furnishes hotels, offices, concert halls, clinics, private jets and ships around the world and is now in its sixth generation of family ownership.
